Chinese Animal Horoscope Signs

The Chinese Zodiac

Many people believe that there is a relationship between the year of birth and the 12 animals of the Chinese Zodiac, which was originally created as a helpful method of keeping time similar to the Gregorian calendar. People take after the attributes of these various zodiacal animals depending upon the year they were born.

There are 6 contrasting pairs of symbolic animals which have opposite attributes which must be balanced, like yin and yang. This system governs the order of animals in the Chinese Zodiac. The start of the Chinese New Year is different every year and depends on the lunar cycle.

Discover what Chinese animal you are and read about your attributes and personality features below.
