Five of Cups
If you are going through a period of great sadness and suffering, always remember that this time will pass and your life will improve. All is not lost.
Try not to shut out the friends and family who are trying to help you through this time of sorrow. Even though you may be feeling you just want to be left alone, you have people around you who love and care for you. They are waiting patiently for you to be ready to move forward.
A good cry at this time might help you release some of the emotions you are holding inside, even if the tears are of anger, crying will help you feel lighter. To overcome sadness due to the death of someone close to you, it could be beneficial for you to seek the help of a bereavement counsellor.
Even though at this moment you can’t see any positive aspects to your future, the time will come when you will cross a bridge between your feelings of despair and a brighter, stable future on the other side. If your sadness is due to a relationship break up, once you cross the bridge to your new life, you are likely to meet a new person who you can share your life with.
It is time to put the past in the past and focus on a new life.
