Aquarius is an Air Sign
Although Aquarius is depicted as the water bearer, he is actually an Air sign. The mental realms become more significant after March 21, 2020. Saturn is comfortable here and encourages the development of structures relating to the mind. We can expect to see further developments related to the internet, education, aviation and technology. If you have Saturn in Aquarius or Leo, you will be more strongly affected than most of us.
Saturn Return
If you are an Aquarian you may be going through what is known as a “Saturn Return”. This is a testing and intense time where you will be forced to confront parts of your subconscious self. Saturn has a roughly 29 year orbit so it ‘returns’ to the zodiacal sign it was originally when you were born. If you are 27 – 30, 54 – 60 or 81 – 90 years old you will be experiencing your 1st, 2nd or 3rd Saturn Return. The 2nd and 3rd Saturn Returns are variations on the themes of the original 1st Saturn Return.
May Feel Like Testing Times
This testing time will last approximately 2 – 3 years so lay low and try to be calm. Important life changes may take place during this time, so you should search your deepest self for guidance. Your Soul Relationships can break up, relocation is possible, or you may take an important trip overseas. Something can end so something new can begin. Let go of the past… you’ll be ok, you can do this!
Review Long Term Goals
Saturn is Retrograde in Aquarius and Capricorn May 11 – September 29, 2020. During this time, this is an opportunity to review our relationships, reassess long term targets and our responsibilities. We can restructure our lives taking into account any challenges that may have delayed or hindered us. Sometimes these challenges will be karmic, and they are something we have to accept rather than avoided.
Themes of responsibility, security, self discipline and pragmatism might put a dampener on Aquarian visions but do try to be positive as this testing time won’t last forever. Remember it is strengthening you and besides, Saturn is your ruler so it will do you some good. You might even feel happier than you have for a long time!
