Life, Love & Loot Prospects in 2019

The Rat is the first symbol in the Chinese zodiac. Rat years start at the Chinese New Year (new or dark moon) and in 2019 this is February 5.  A new moon occurs at a different time every year according to the lunar cycle.

Rat years are 1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008, 2020 and so on. Rats are optimistic, determined, clever, have good memories, learn easily, creative and rat cunning.

Life in 2019 - Transformational Change

Rats have to adapt this year as there are many changes in their lives… but they have the skills to do this! Next year will be your year, the Year of the Rat, so you can make adjustments now so that you’re ready. Be careful with your money and don’t take unnecessary risks now. Prepare yourself to be solid and safe for next year and cut off anything that no longer serves you including so called ‘friends’ who do not have your highest good at heart.

In the Year of the Pig 2019, water is present. As Rats also have the element of water, Rats should be able to swim and negotiate the tides of 2019. Whilst other signs drown, Rats are more successful than most. They know what to do to get along with Pigs, they are cunning and can stay afloat in most situations. Rats could meet new friends who are Pigs this year or reconnect with old Pig friends they haven’t seen for a while. There is more socialising this year and a good time to be had by all.

The Year of the Pig is a great year for Rats to downsize their lives by getting rid of stuff they don’t use and organising their lives for the better. You can do this dear Rat with your excellent organisation skills. Clean out those cupboards and get ready for the change and transformation you need to move forward in life. While you’re at it, clean out those thoughts in your clever Rat head… negativity only weighs you down.

Particularly in 2019, walking and outside exercise or movement is good for you dear Rats. Make sure you get sufficient vitamin D, so you need 20 minutes of morning sun daily or take vitamin D supplements. Keep your shiny hair shiny and your immune system topped up, especially in the 2nd half of 2019.

Love in 2019 - Likely!

2019 is a fortunate year for Rats in love and romance. With all your socialising this year, you just might meet someone special. Gadding about in groups will give you even more chances of finding someone suitable. Travelling and love are well blessed in the Year of the Pig for itinerant rats moving about. Although not the abSOULute best year for love, there’s still plenty of darn good luck for meeting potential lovers.

If you’re a single Rat and wish to stay that way, you will probably still have many chances for romance and love this year. You need to be upfront about being noncommittal because chance casual flings could morph into something more.

Existing committed Rat relationships are likely to deepen with the connection becoming stronger. There could be additional children coming, renewal of vows or holidays together strengthening your relationship in 2019.

Rats get along well with Oxen, Dragons, Monkeys and to a lesser extent Pigs, but they can still make it work. Horses, Goats and Rabbits can be challenging.

Chinese Horoscope Money Year of the Pig

Loot - Play It Safe

Dear Rats often you are pretty good at balancing the books and making wise financial decisions. Although 2019 doesn’t hold great money energy for you, you should be fine if you don’t rush money decisions. Don’t be impulsive, carefully consider all matters money this year as next year could be a little more difficult if you make the wrong decisions now. Money energy isn’t bad, it just needs a bit more consideration than usual.

In terms of career, if you decide to get another job, you may find it’s a step sideways rather than a step up. Perhaps new jobs are not as good as you thought and the grass is greener somewhere else but when you get there, it’s more of the same old same old. The energy is more solidified so it’s hard to make definite progress but the upside is that at least work seems stable.

Wishing you all the best in the Year of the Pig dear Rats. Stay positive and reap your rewards.
