  6. For Aches and Joint Pain – There are various supplements on the market that help with inflammation and free radicals. If you're feeling older, stiffer, or more tired than usual, it could be worth looking into antioxidant-rich supplements. Just make sure they come from a reputable source.

Psychic health isn’t just physical—it’s energetic. Here are some extra things to consider, especially if you do readings, healing work, or are just very open and tuned in:

  1. Energy Hygiene Is Real – Just like you shower daily, clean your energy field regularly. That might look like visualising white light around your body, using salt scrubs in the shower, burning herbs like sage or rosemary, or meditating with the intention to clear unwanted energy.
  2. Ground Yourself Often – This is crucial if you’re doing readings, healing, or even just around a lot of intense people. Walk barefoot on the grass, lie on the earth, or visualise roots growing down from your feet into the ground. Eating grounding foods (root veg, hearty stews, etc.) also helps.
  3. Shield Your Energy – Before heading into a big day (especially if you're working psychically or around crowds), take a moment to visualise a protective bubble around you. Gold or violet light are particularly good for psychic protection.
  4. Emotional Boundaries Matter Too – Learn to distinguish between what’s yours and what you’ve picked up from someone else. This takes practice, but journaling, meditating, and body scans can help you get clearer over time.

If you don't like the word 'exercise' (I don't), call it movement. Do endeavour to move more in your daily routine.

  • Thyroid Health – Many psychic women over 50 seem to have sluggish thyroids. If you’re tired all the time, cold, gaining weight, or foggy, get your TSH, T3, and T4 checked. There are a few natural thyroid options available, but it’s essential to work with a knowledgeable doctor.
  • Gentle Movement – Walk instead of run, especially if you’re prone to burnout or adrenal fatigue. Swimming is lovely if your joints need low-impact movement. And yes, dogs are excellent walking buddies—they get you out of the house even when it’s cold and rainy!
